• 50% Virtual Home Office
• 50% In-person at ICAN’s Cedar Falls, IA office

Negotiable, but no later than July 7, 2025

General Responsibilities:    

• Advise students and families, both in-person and virtually, on college and career planning, and the financial aid process and opportunities. 
• Deliver impactful college and career readiness and financial aid awareness presentations both in-person (typically at high schools) and virtually for students in grades 9-12. 
• Assist students and families nationwide via ICAN’s toll-free hotline and its interactive web-based chat feature. 
• Assist with communication projects. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned.   

Qualifications:

• Experience advising students and families, which is often found in college admissions, financial aid, school counseling, or career counseling preferred. 
• Technology savvy.  Comfortable with videoconferencing tools, MS Office, and CRM tools like Salesforce. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including significant public speaking experience. 
• Commitment to and history of providing excellent customer service to a wide range of clients. 
• Team oriented, able to lead co-workers on select projects and to work as part of the team on other projects. 
• Project management experience. 
• Training experience. 

Salary

Starting range:  $44,000 - $50,000
