FAFSA Completion Events
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a key step toward success in attaining post-high school education and training. The FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid process and should be completed for each year a student plans to attend school.
At ICAN we understand that completing the FAFSA can be overwhelming, which is why we have partners across the state of Iowa working with us to create free events that provide professional assistance in completing the form and understanding the steps to accessing grants, scholarships, and student loans to help cover college costs.
Below is a complete list of ICAN supported events in Iowa. Some require appointments or are restricted to students attending the host institution. The specifics of each event can be found in the event description. If you have any questions about an event, contact ICAN by clicking the message box on the right side of this screen or call 877-272-4692. You can also visit an ICAN center and receive FAFSA assistance. Schedule at an ICAN location by visiting www.ICANsucceed.org/apt.
The following locations will host FAFSA Completion Events at part of FAFSA Ready Iowa. As dates are scheduled, they will be listed below.
