ICAN Hosting Military Career Fair for High School Students
Students and Parents Explore Enlistment Options and Career Pathways
HIAWATHA, IOWA (November 27, 2023) — ICAN is excited to announce a unique opportunity for high school students to explore diverse career options in the military. The ICAN Military Career Fair is scheduled for November 29, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Kirkwood Linn Regional Center in Hiawatha.
The Military Career Fair for High School Students is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at guiding young individuals toward promising and fulfilling careers in the military. This event will serve as a one-stop resource for students and their families to learn about the various paths available, from military academies to direct enlistment and ROTC programs. There is no cost to attend.

Students attending these events should walk away with an understanding how much power they have in determining their future, and how the military may enable them.” said Lieutenant Colonel William Kuebler, an active-duty Army officer and head of the Mighty Hawkeye Battalion ROTC Program.
Students of all ages and at all stages of the planning process are encouraged to attend and talk one-on-one with military academy and branch representatives about making the future opportunities available within the United State Military.
