Prairie Meadows has played an important role in the Central Iowa community since we opened in 1989. That’s because we are a non-profit, locally-managed Iowa business. And just like those who live here, we strive to support the communities where we live, work and play.

Every day, our community efforts promote economic development, agriculture, jobs, and tourism for the state of Iowa.

As a licensed 501(c)(4) non-profit corporation, Prairie Meadows supports a broad range of non-profit proposals and projects through our Community Betterment Grant Program, Scholarship Program, and Legacy Grant Program.

As a result, Prairie Meadows has been able to give more than $1.69 billion back into the state of Iowa. With more than $746 million of that figure remaining right here in our community.
